Luncheon: The Mine of the Future, Balancing Growing Demand While Decreasing Emissions

As the need to combat climate change intensifies, so does the need for raw materials like cobalt, lithium, and copper, as well as steel to support clean energy solutions like EVs, wind turbines, geothermal plants, to name a few. At the center of this is the mining sector.

Forecasts show that mining companies need to go above and beyond what has been expected of them to meet net-zero goals. This has put a spotlight on how the sector balances its emissions output while it must deliver on an outlook of ever-increasing demand.

This session requires pre-registration. Table service lunch will be provided to all attendees. Guidance on how to register will be shared with all Annual Meeting 2025 attendees in January 2025.
