Cory Stevens, is Senior Vice President & President of Freeport-McMoRan Technical Services, a division of Freeport-McMoRan Inc.  He has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry where he leads diverse teams helping to drive innovation and deliver results with operational excellence.  

Cory joined the company in 1997 and has held numerous positions at our North and South America operations.  With a background in engineering and business administration, Cory has played a pivotal role in the company’s strategy and operations.

Cory is widely recognized for his visionary leadership and strategic insight in mining industry. 

As President, Cory is committed to promoting responsible mining practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, community engagement, and employee well-being.

Cory has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Western New Mexico University.
