Fahad M. Al AbdulKareem is the Executive Vice President of Producing leading the full portfolio of Saudi Aramco Oil and Gas producing Operations. Al AbdulKareem has a wealth of experience in Upstream, Government Relations, and International Operations. 

Prior to his current role, Fahad was the Senior Vice President of Industrial Services, where he led major transformation initiatives, including a carve-out of the company’s aviation organization and the establishment of the new Aloula Aviation Company. In addition, Al Abdulkareem was assigned as the National Champion leader to establish the first steel plate manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia with key international stakeholders. 

Al AbdulKareem served as Vice President of Southern Area Producing, where he played a key leadership role in the restoration of operations at Abqaiq and Khurais following attacks in 2019, as well as supporting the company in achieving its highest production record in April 2020. 

Previously, he acted as Executive Director for the Office of the Chairman, from 2017 to 2018, and worked as President & CEO of Aramco Europe in the Netherlands for three years from 2014. 

Al AbdulKareem first joined Aramco in September 1986 and went on to earn a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1992. His early career included several assignments within Northern Area Oil Operations, both onshore and offshore. 

Al AbdulKareem has completed a number of leadership programs. In addition to his new role, Al AbdulKareem also serves as chairman of both Aloula Aviation and Aramco Associated Company, and a Board Member in several other affiliates and subsidiaries.
