Hunter L. Hunt
Hunter L. Hunt is the co-Chair and co-CEO of Hunt Consolidated and Chairman and CEO of Hunt Energy Holdings, a private, family-owned energy company with a diverse portfolio of global assets.
Founded in 1934, Hunt's energy activities include Hunt Oil Company, Hunt Refining Company, Hunt Energy Network, Hunt Innovative Technologies, and Sharyland Utilities, a regulated transmission utility in Texas. Hunter is dedicated to viewing energy as a service to humanity and believes that economic development and energy development go hand-in-hand.
Hunter is Chair Emeritus of the Dallas College Foundation and serves on the Executive Committee of the Dallas Citizens Council. Additionally, he is the current Chair of Texas Health Resources, serves on the Executive Committee of Texas 2036, and is a member of the International Advisory Board for the Atlantic Council.
Hunter is the co-founder of the Hunter and Stephanie Hunt Institute of Engineering and Humanity, and he serves on the board of the Lyle School of Engineering at SMU. He has been the Honorary Consul for the United Kingdom in Dallas since 2011.
