Jon Moore heads BloombergNEF (BNEF), which is Bloomberg’s strategic research provider covering global commodity markets and the disruptive technologies driving the transition to a low-carbon economy. BNEF’s expert coverage assesses pathways for the power, transport, industry, buildings and agriculture sectors to adapt to the energy transition. 

BNEF has 330 staff in 20 offices around the globe. Jon joined Bloomberg in 2009, becoming BNEF CEO in 2014.

Prior to BNEF, Jon spent 20 years working as an analyst and consultant in the global capital markets at JP Morgan, Accenture and as co-founder of a consulting business firm (m.a.partners). Jon has a B Eng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from Nottingham University, with an engineering scholarship from British Aerospace.
