Jonathan is the Founder and CEO of Sustainable Development Capital LLP (SDCL). He has 28 years’ of experience in finance. 

Established in London in 2007, SDCL specializes in developing and investing in efficient and decentralized generation of energy ("EDGE") projects and companies across the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia. 

Jonathan was recently recognized by the Independent’s Climate 100 List as one of the world’s foremost environmentalists. In 2023, his book ‘The Edge: How Competition for Resources is Pushing the World, and Its Climate, to the Brink – and What We Can Do About It’ was published by John Murray Press (part of Hachette). 

He holds a degree in Modern History from Oxford University.
