Lubna Bouza is the head of business news and a presenter at Sky News Arabia TV, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has led the coverage of international and GCC stock markets, trading trends, and global and regional financial stories for nearly ten years.
She presents and produces ‘Business with Lubna’. The show adopts a straightforward and conversational style, making business news accessible without complex jargon. Each episode covers a blend of current and evergreen topics, featuring a variety of decision-makers and experts who provide in-depth analysis on subjects ranging from the economics of luxury bags to the applications of ChatGPT.
During her years in financial journalism, she has interviewed a wide range of regional and international leaders, CEOs, and Ministers, including ECB President Christine Lagarde, Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber CEO of ADNOC Group, amongst others.
Lubna has also covered and reported from major international events and conferences, including the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings and the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
Lubna joined Sky News Arabia from CNBC Arabia. She holds a Masters degree in Applied Finance and Banking and a Masters degree in International Business Administration, with emphasis on Economics, from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
