Rita Lofano is the editor-in-chief of AGI since March 2023. Over the course of her 24-year career at AGI, Rita has gained extensive international experience, including 13 years as a US correspondent, during which time she covered four presidential campaigns and major global events. 

Rita is the editor-in-chief of several publications, including Mag1861, a magazine dedicated to the beauty of Italy, and WE-World Energy, which is a critical source of information for the international debate on the geopolitics of energy. Both magazines are in double editions, in Italian and English. She is also the editor of Protagonista and Orizzonti magazines.

She is often a guest on major tv broadcasters in Italy as a political commentator and the author of AGI audio podcast “Un’americana a Roma” to help analyze the latest in American politics.
