Dwight H. Pullen, Jr. is a Senior Vice President and Global Leader for the Aviation Market at AECOM.  AECOM is the world’s largest and most trusted infrastructure consulting firm, recognized as the #1 Transportation firm and the #1 Airports firm by Engineering News Record (ENR). At AECOM, Dwight has been the Principal in Charge of multiple projects including “Seattle-Tacoma International Airport South Concourse Evolution” which will extend the useful life of the south concourse, “Orlando International Airport Continuing Engineering Civil Services” to improve a wide range of civil services, and “Palm Beach Airport, General Engineering Consultant Services” providing architecture, mechanical, electrical, structural, and landscaping design to the airport, as well being a senior advisor to other iconic projects like the NEOM International Airport in Saudi Arabia and design and construction of JFK Terminal 1 and Terminal 6 Airport’s expansion.

He previously led Aviation Markets in Construction for DPR Construction and Skanska USA Building.  Before that, he was Vice President and Global Director of Aviation responsible for driving Global Strategy, Growth and Profitability of the Aviation business at CH2M, that is now Jacobs. 

Dwight currently serves as the Past Board Chair for the Airports Consultants Council (ACC) and is on Board Member for the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC).  As an AEC Industry executive and thought leader, he has discovered his “Why”, advocating for Equity in Infrastructure and Airport Development.  He is a champion for Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education and initiatives in underserved and underrepresented communities. In 2023, he received AMAC’s Chairman’s Award for his distinguished industry leadership. 

He is a leading voice in the airport infrastructure sector, and has written several articles on airport infrastructure, minimizing impacts to operations at airports during construction and alternative project delivery at airports.  Dwight speaks at conferences around the world focused on airport infrastructure and development.

Dwight co-authored The Spider Web Philosophy that promotes the connectedness through authentic relationships.  The Spider Web Philosophy book has three key attributes: The Web (Identifying the Network, Your Authentic Relationships at Work), Self-Awareness (Personal Mastery, Understanding Purpose and Passion), and The Master Mind (Accountability and Support, Your Personal Board of Directors).
